DIRECTIONS:

Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal to Weir’s Beach RV Resort

As you head off the BC Ferry at Swartz Bay:

  1. Head southwest on HWY-17 (Patricia Bay Highway) - 25.2 km

  2. Take Exit 7 McKenzie Avenue towards Sooke/Nanaimo - 0.3 km

  3. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for McKenzie Avenue W/Sooke/Trans Canada Highway - 95 meters

  4. Turn right at McKenzie Avenue - 2.0 km

  5. Turn right at HWY-1 (Trans Canada Highway) heading north - 2.8 km

  6. Take Exit 10 towards Colwood/View Royal - 0.9 km

  7. Travel west on HWY 1A (Island Highway) - 2.4 km

  8. Becomes Sooke Road, continue on - 2.2 km

  9. Turn left at Metchosin Road (turns into William Head Road in Metchosin) - 8.3 km

  10. Continue on William Head Road, look for Weir’s Beach on the left - 3.6 km

Victoria’s Inner Harbour to Weir’s Beach RV Resort

As you leave Victoria’s Inner Harbour:

  1. Head north on Douglas - 2.1 km

  2. Douglas becomes HWY-1 (Trans Canada Highway) heading north - 6.9 km

  3. Take Exit 10 towards Colwood - 0.9 km

  4. Merge onto Burnside Road heading west - 0.2 km

  5. Travel West on HWY 1A (Island Highway) - 2.4 km

  6. Becomes Sooke Road, continue on - 2.2 km

  7. Turn left at Metchosin Road (turns into William Head Road in Metchosin) - 8.3 km

  8. Continue on William Head Road, look for Weir’s Beach on the left - 3.6 km

Nanaimo (via the Malahat) to Weir’s Beach RV Resort

As you leave the upper island coming from Nanaimo, Duncan or Mill Bay:

  1. Turn south onto HWY-1 (Trans Canada Highway)

  2. Take Exit 14 towards Langford/Sooke/Colwood - 0.4 km

  3. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Langford and merge onto Millstream Road - 0.2 km

  4. Millstream Road becomes Veterans Memorial Parkway - 5.6 km

  5. Turn Left on Latoria Road - 1.7 km

  6. Turn Right on Metchosin Road

  7. Stay on Metchosin Road (turns into William Head Road in Metchosin) - 8.3 km

  8. Continue on William Head Road, look for Weir’s Beach on the left - 3.6 km
